Bellis perennis L. subsp. sylvestris (Cirillo)
Early winter... and there it is on the roadsides and in the fields, the beautiful daisy that closes its petals tightly when night falls, half-closing them to the clouds and opening them wide to the sunshine.
White at the top, deep pink at the edges and underneath, its petals distinguish it from the white daisy (bellis perennis).
Both species are edible and have many medicinal properties.
(analgesic, antitussive, healing, etc.)
