An exhibition of his works, titled «Local Products», presents in the Kapsali the great painter from Kythira, Manolis Charos. The exhibition, which is being presented under this title for the fifth time in the last decade, will run from August 4 to 11 at the «Follow Your Art» gallery.
In these exhibitions, the artist—who has spent most of the past two years living in Kythera, showcases the works that have emerged from the island’s conditions—the light, the landscape, the climate, the space, and the time—which, as he himself says, function differently on the island.
«Local Products» offers a glimpse into the evolution of the artist's works, which refer to the places where they were created.
