A taste of martial arts had the opportunity to get those who attended the afternoon of Friday, July 29 at the pier of Agia Pelagia to watch the interactive self-defense course and demonstration of Ju Jitsu from “A.S. Lefkaros”, in the context of the “7th Lefkaros Tour and Training Martial Arts”.
The great sports tourism program is organized by “A.S. Lefkaros” and the Cultural Association of Agia Pelagia, in coordination of George Zantiotis, head Instructor in the company “Lefkaros Ju Jitsu Club” and Federal Coach of the National Ju Jitsu Team. It is, in fact, the 5th of the total of 7 times that this event has visited the island of Kythera.
The program included a demonstration of self-defense techniques in the sport of Ju Jitsu by the students of the “Lefkaros Ju Jitsu Club”, many of whom carry great distinctions at national and international level. The end, in fact, included many pleasant surprises for the attendees, as the public was given the opportunity to participate in the events. A flood of children, Chirigotakia and not, who watched the events with fascination, got “baptism of fire” in the art of Ju Jitsu and it is not excluded, some of them to staff in the future A.S. Lefkaros and our national teams.
