On October 15, 1976, in Vangelis Tzortzopoulos' office, we decided to establish the Portokalia Association.
It has been nearly 50 years, approximately three generations, and the Portokalia Association continues to produce both beautification and cultural projects with even greater momentum.
This year's Portokalia festival was a feast.
In our small village, sporting events were held, along with a photography exhibition on violence and an anti-fascist speech, and the festival ended with a two-day music festival in the beautiful fishing village of Pl. Ammos.
A big BRAVO to the remaining members of the first generation, to the second generation, this wonderful youth, and even more BRAVO to the restless kids.
Personally, I belong to the first generation. I hope and pray that when the club celebrates its 100th anniversary, I will be able to rejoice from above for the legacy we have left behind.
Nikos Didymiotis
P.S. Let's all work together to help young people advance our village, away from petty disputes, criticism, and above all, mudslinging.
No one is left out in the village. Everyone is united for Karava.
