He spoke to us about his connection to the island, his deep love for it, and his future plans.
What is your connection to Kythira?;
My grandfather was from Mani, and he got married in Kythira. With childhood memories that have faded over time, ever since I was young, I’ve been connected to the island through a bond of life and love. My love for Kythira is a natural progression.
How did you decide to make such a large business investment on the island of Kythira?;
Kythira, a magical place, possesses a unique charm and natural beauty that shines through its simplicity. My business investments are centered on gastronomy, sports, and culture. By focusing on sectors where the island is currently flourishing, I aim to contribute—as a native of Kythira—to the island’s sustainable development by doing my part.
Please describe the Kamares Multivenue venue to me.
The Kamares Multivenue It is a multifunctional space of joy and sensory experiences, offering every visitor a wide variety of colorful opportunities for fun, recreation, and enjoyment. Spanning 2,500 m², the venue features billiards, ping pong, fitness and dance studios, and a “healthy corner” with handmade healthy snacks and beverages. There is also a café, a bar, a restaurant, a martial arts hall, a kickboxing area, a gym equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym machines, a beauty corner, a massage room, locker rooms with a sauna, a playground, and indoor and outdoor event spaces.

We have created a truly beautiful space with a focus on comfort and functionality, offering services that provide excellent value for money and are in line with the difficult economic times we are experiencing, without compromising on quality.
There has been a great deal of public interest in visiting this particular venue.
As the creator of Kamares Multivenue, how do you feel?;
Feelings of joy and gratitude, because my vision for a place that is meant first and foremost for the local people of Kythira, and then for all other guests, has been so well received.
Is there a possibility that you might expand into other luxury real estate projects like this on the island in the future?;
We will continue to invest in the island, focusing on the tourism sector. For me, luxury should not be unattainable, nor should it be a goal in itself; it must be in harmony with the natural environment and the spirit of each guest. Therefore, all our future investments will be in harmony with the natural beauty of the place, evoking a sense of intimacy and warmth.
What are your expectations?;
A prominent place for Kythira on the culinary journey known as the Mediterranean, showcasing local products and the island’s beauty, and athletes from Kythira who excel internationally in kickboxing.
You are a businessperson who is particularly well-liked on the island of Kythira, known for your active involvement and achievements. Does this give you a greater sense of responsibility for the future?;
There is always a responsibility for tomorrow. The love and embrace of the world helps to
making my dreams about Kythira—which are so colorful—come true.
Did you expect this kind of response from the public?;
Time always reveals and rewards. Good efforts are always recognized and applauded. It’s delightful and wonderful that this happened for us right away.
How does a successful entrepreneur like you manage to stay true to yourself and continue to act with humility and modesty?;
I can’t speak for my own character. I am who I am. My principles compel me to act with truth and justice in my professional life, as well as in my life in general. I build on them, and I strive to live by them.
Is there anything you'd like to change about Kythira?;
Kythira is finally coming of age. Just as every adult tries to find their footing, so too is Kythira trying to find its footing amid the unique circumstances of the times we live in. No one can change things and situations on their own. I will simply try to help, in my own way, with the development and promotion of the island that I love, respect, and care so deeply about.
