There have been 76 new deaths among COVID-19 patients, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 9,864. 95.51% had an underlying medical condition and/or were 70 years of age or older.
The number of patients currently hospitalized and on ventilators is 819 (63.2% men). Their median age is 68 years. 84.5% have an underlying medical condition and/or are 70 years of age or older. Since the start of the pandemic, 2,003 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new COVID-19 patients admitted to hospitals nationwide is 456 (daily change: -2,56%). The seven-day average of admissions is 479 patients.
The median age of cases is 44 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
