Significant traffic changes are expected in southern part of Kythira, as, by decision of the Mayor of Kythira, The road from the village of Mylopotamos to Skoulandrianika is closed. due to work on the project «Sewerage System for the Southern Part of Kythira Island».
According to the license issued on February 21, 2025, the road closure will last from February 21 to March 20, 2025, under the responsibility of the company CHOROTECHNIKI A.T.E., which has undertaken the work.
What does this mean for drivers?;
•Access from Mylopotamos towards Skoulandrianika will be impossible for the duration of the works.
•Will be installed special marking, informing drivers about the alternative route that they should follow.
