The resignation of the three-party «government» of the JCC - PP - CA, was submitted by the pseudo-Prime Minister, Ersan Saner to the TC leader, Ersin Tatar, according to the Cyprus News Agency.
As reported by the occupied, In a written statement, Mr Chaner cited the quorum problem in the «parliament», developments within two of the three parties of the «coalition» and some problems that arose within the «government» as reasons for the resignation.
In his written statement, Saner added that the three-party «government» was formed on December 8, 2020 with the cooperation protocol signed by the three parties at that time and received a vote of confidence in the «parliament» on December 19. Their main goal, he said, was to get through the pandemic and the economic consequences with as little difficulty as possible, considering that «we succeeded in both».
It also states that the lack of a quorum in «parliament» prevents the «government» from producing work and addressing the various needs as well as responding to «legislative» work.
Lastly, he noted that the proposal he made with good intentions - as he said - to set a date for early «parliamentary elections» was rejected and his interlocutors in this «parliament» «did not see the necessary understanding and support».
