The devastating fire that recently hit Mylopotamos left us all shocked.
The natural environment we loved was reduced to ashes, bringing deep sadness and frustration, destroying property and having an indelible impact on the lives of its people.
In these difficult circumstances, the thought of holding this year's ball was not easy.
With respect to the collective grief, the Board of Directors of the Association, decided in an extraordinary meeting with teleconference on 3/8/2025, to hold it - not as a simple entertainment, but as an act of unity and hope for the rebirth of Mylopotamos, as a beginning of a new expectation that this is not the end, but a new beginning.
A call for solidarity and support, a message that our village is not extinguished, that its people are here and we continue.
All proceeds of the event, as well as most of the Association's cash reserves, will be used for reforestation projects and support of the village, so that much sooner than even the most optimistic people expect, Milopotamos will be back as it was on 24 July 2025, if not even more beautiful!.
On Tuesday 12.8.2025, come and join us all together at Platanos Mylopotamos, to support with our presence those who were affected by the fire and bring life back to the place we love through music and songs.
