As part of a report for a morning show, a reporter from Alpha was found in the Floisvos to monitor activity in the area, particularly in light of the precautionary measures against the new coronavirus. At one point, the voice of a woman passing by can be heard urging the reporter to take a trip to Ikaria as well, apparently to document the violations of the measures against the pandemic, at the highest levels of government, in fact.
«Be sure to visit the Ikaria», the woman can be heard saying, drawing a connection to the recent, «carefree» the Prime Minister's coronavirus party, to be visible.
The reporter’s awkward reaction—he merely said, «We’ve been to Ikaria, too»—was followed by his intervention Nikos Manesis from the studio, who thanked the woman «for the her policy of intervention».
The host, however, went several steps further, urging the reporter in a clearly sarcastic tone to keep the woman's phone number, «Let's get her right before the election so she can tell us how to vote.».
