The practical and selfless support and assistance to the castaways of the tragic maritime accident that took place in the area of Diakofti on Wednesday night, 05/10, was underlined by the director of Kythera.News, Hippolytos Precas, in a statement to OPEN.
Precas, who was speaking to the station's main newscast and Poppy Tsapanidou, noted that the whole island is in a state of shock from the first dramatic hours of the incident, while he referred to the agony experienced by some of the rescued people in the search for their missing relatives.
