The memory of the Holy Virgin Martyr Saint Elessa will be celebrated with great splendor in Kythira, at the church bearing her name, located on the sacred rock of Agia.
The religious services will begin on the afternoon of Friday, July 31, 2026. At 7:00 p.m., the Grand Festive Vespers will be celebrated, presided over by His Grace Bishop Ioannis of Skiathos.
On the morning of Saturday, August 1, the main day of the feast, an Archiepiscopal Concelebration will be held, followed by the traditional procession of the Holy Icon of Saint Elessa.
