The latest developments in the operation of the natural gas supply chain were discussed at the meeting of the Crisis Management Group of the Ministry of Energy, chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at the Maximou Mansion.
In fact, the meeting discussed the updating of all initiatives and actions taken by the government to support households and businesses until the end of September, as well as the main scenarios for the remaining months of autumn and winter.
The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Christos Staikouras, Environment and Energy Minister Kostas Skrekas, State Minister George Gerapetritis, State Minister Akis Skertsos, Deputy Minister for Fiscal Policy Theodoros Skylakakis and Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Yannis Bratakos.
Also, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance Athanasios Petralias, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy Alexandra Sdoukou, the Director of the Economic Office of the Prime Minister Alexis Patelis, the advisor to the Prime Minister on energy issues Nikos Tsafos, the President and CEO of PPC George Stassis, the CEO of DEPA Kostas Xifaras, the Deputy CEO of PPC Ioannis Kopanakis and the Professor of Energy Economics of the National Technical University of Athens Pantelis Kappros.
