The director and the members of the band of the Philharmonic of Kythera wish everyone MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH HEALTH!
The band gave us a festive tone this year with its performances on Sunday at the River and on Monday at the Karava playing a selection from her Christmas repertoire. .
On Sunday morning 18/12 the band played outside the Spiritual Centre of Potamos and in the square combining its appearance with the events for children organized by the Potamos Cultural Association in collaboration with the educational team “KyMalo” as well as the bazaar of River Primary School.
On Monday 19/12 in the evening making the traditional Christmas “round” our band visited Karavas where a small celebration was set up in the courtyard of the “Bake of Karava” with lots of fun sweets and tsipouro. Apart from the music of the band, carols were sung by the newcomer Singing Group of the Philharmonic. We thank the villagers for the warm welcome and the “Bakery of Karavas” of the of the Koronaeus family for the hospitality and organization of the celebration.
