The tension around Domestic Property takes a new turn, as the Board of Directors unanimously decided to file lawsuits against George Syrmalis and Anargyros Sophiou for false accusation and slander through the press. At the same time, the members of the Committee are also proceeding with lawsuits, seeking €50,000 each in damages, while additional legal action is being considered by Enchorio itself. All those who have dealt with the Commission will be called as witnesses. The Commission's statement follows.
PRESS RELEASE -ANNOUNCEMENT
The Property Committee of Kythera and Antikythera announces that during today's extraordinary meeting of its Board of Directors, it was unanimously decided the following a) to file a complaint against Mr. SYRMALI George for the offences of false information committed against the members of the Board of Directors. with the falsely mentioned in his written complaint of 03-11-2025, the content of which they learned from a publication and of slander through the press, etc., on the other hand, which he committed against them with a letter which he sent to the media and which was published and against Mr. Sofiou Anargyros for the offence of defamation by the press, which he committed by his posting on F/B in which he characterises the above-mentioned complaint as «documented» in relation to the matters referred to in it (fictitious invoices, under-the-table transactions, etc.). b) that a lawyer be instructed to give an opinion on the possibility of bringing an action on behalf of the Commission as a legal entity against the above for damage to its reputation and authority and c) that an action be brought, on the part of the members of the Board of Directors and in their capacity as such, before the competent court, against the aforementioned, requesting the removal of the resulting insult to their personality and its omission in the future, with the threat of a fine and, in the event of impossibility, personal detention for any violation of the decision to be issued, as well as the payment of compensation, on account of moral damages, in the amount of 50.000.00 euros from each of the above to each member of the Board, which will be used for the development and tree planting of the properties of Panagia Myrtidiotissa and Agia Moni. It is noted that in the exercise of all the above claims will be taken into account the repeated insult of the insult to the personality of the members of the Board and the prestige of the Commission since they have been preceded by postings from the faction «Free Kythira» headed by Anargyros Sophios.
Witnesses will be proposed ALL those who in any way had a financial transaction with the Domestic, Myrtidiotissa and Agia Moni (suppliers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, executors of works, lawyers, etc.)
