On the morning of Thursday, September 23, 2021, he visited the Kythira Town Hall, ο Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Mr. Konstantinos Katsafados, which is located in Kythera representing the Government during the celebrations Patron Saint and Protector of the island, Panagia Myrtidiotissa.
The Deputy Minister was welcomed by Mayor Mr. Efstratios Charhalakis and informed him about all the current issues facing the municipality, while thanking him for his ongoing support. Ministry of Shipping and of Coast Guard towards Municipality of Kythira and the local community in general, support that is also related to infrastructure improvements, mainly in the critical area of water supply. Important issues were discussed, such as the need to speed up relocation of the Regional Medical Center of Chora, the issue of its use Old Customs House of Agia Pelagia, the Country Weather Station as well as the progress of the many important projects undertaken by our Municipality.
