With the visit of the Sacred Heart of Saint Theodoros to our Hospital, accompanied by His Eminence, Metropolitan of Kythera and Antikythera, Mr. Seraphim, the Bishop of Lakedaimonia, Mr. Theophilos and the respected Clergy of the local Metropolis, in the presence of the staff of the Hospital, the memory of the Saint was celebrated in our area.
After the prayer service on the ground floor of the hospital, Metropolitan Seraphim addressed a short greeting to the staff, while he wished -with the new advertisement for medical positions-, for which he had sent a letter to the Minister of Health in February, that our health unit would be staffed with new personnel.
The Governor, in response and thanking the Metropolitan, recalled that without the donation of the land by the Monastery of Saint Theodoros, the construction of the new state-of-the-art building would not have been possible.
