A special collector's edition of the well-known board game Stratego, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the 1821 revolution, is expected to be released in the coming days.
In this edition released by the board game company ZITO of PSYCHOGIOS Publications, the rules of ORIGINAL The publication and contents include:

- Pawns depicting figures from the two opposing sides that played a leading role in the Greek Revolution

GENERAL
The Stratego is a strategy game that belongs to the intellectual sports category. Mind Sports Olympiad. It is a two-player game in which opponents must develop a strategic plan on a 10 × 10 square board.
HOW TO
Each player controls 40 pieces representing officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers, while the aim of the game is to capture the enemy's flag or capture enough enemy pieces so that the opponent cannot make any more moves.
STATISTICAL DATA
A typical game of Stratego has an average of 381 moves, the number of permissible positions is 10,115, and the number of possible games is 10,535. Stratego has more moves and greater complexity than other well-known games, but one or more bad moves in the early stages of the game are unlikely to lead to losing the game.
HISTORICAL DATA
In a similar form, Stratego first appeared in Europe before World War I as a game called “L'attaque” designed by Frenchwoman Hermance Edan. The modern game was developed in the Netherlands by Jumbo Games and in 1961 it was released in the US by Milton Bradley (MB). Since then, it has had avid fans of all ages and is considered worldwide to be a challenge for sharpening the mind.
