Opening of the period for carrying out the annual livestock census

According to the document of the Department of Agricultural Economy and Veterinary Medicine (D/AD 899293/25-10-2021), the period for carrying out the annual census of the livestock population of ovine, caprine and porcine holdings begins.

From the Department of Agricultural Economy and Veterinary Medicine, Animal Health Department, a team will come to Kythera to carry out the census of livestock, which shall be the responsibility of every owner of sheep, goats and pigs. In the event of non-compliance with the above, the competent authority will impose the necessary compliance measures.   

 The inventory points will be:

1. Tuesday 9-11-2021 at the Agricultural Cooperative of Livadi in office hours
2. Wednesday 10-11-2021 at the Agricultural Cooperative of Potamos in office hours                                
   

Caution the farmer must have his holding register and medication register with him when he arrives. If he cannot attend in person, the person representing him must produce all the above and have a duly certified authorisation.
