Chitra: Nighttime operation by the Coast Guard to inspect Turkish fishing boats (photostory)

During a nighttime operation to inspect Turkish fishing boats passing through the sea area southwest of Kythira, a Coast Guard vessel proceeded.

As reported by G. S., more than 70 large Turkish fishing boats (with an average length of 35 meters and width of 15 meters) are expected to pass through the Kythira-Antikythira strait again this year. Based on previous experience, these vessels often pass less than 1.5 nautical miles from Kapsali.
