The issue of the placement of a paediatrician at the Kythera Hospital was raised by the minority opposition councillor Chrysoula Fatsea at the last meeting (Monday 31/10/2022) of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Kythera.
Ms. Facea asked the Mayor for an update on the fact that there is currently no pediatrician at the Hospital and asked if there is any interest from the Municipality to fill the medical position.
The Mayor replied that as far as he knows a replacement with a new pediatrician has been requested.
Ms Facea also asked for an update on the issue of student transport. The Mayor replied that this is a matter for the District. According to Kythera.News in the coming days developments on the issue are expected.
