The mayor of Kythira, Stratos Charhalakis, chose to once again inform citizens about the auctions of projects planned by the municipality by posting on his personal Facebook account (and on the municipality's Facebook page). This time, he provides a summary list of upcoming auctions as well as those scheduled for the coming months. The list he published includes 11 projects totaling €2.7 million. Read the details:
AUCTION SCHEDULING
The Municipality of Kythira announces that the following auctions have been scheduled:
1. Antikythera Mechanism exhibition hall at the Potamos Municipal Hall, budget €44,320 (CLLD/LEADER): 31/08
2. Restoration of the Potamos Urban School and its conversion into the Kythira Municipality Center for Literature and Arts, budget €350,000 (CLLD/LEADER): 20/09
3. Procurement of a new refuse collection vehicle, budget €150,000 (FILODIMOS): 23/09
4. Phase C: Maintenance of Tanks and Pumping Stations, budget €100,400 (FILODIMOS): 11/10
Following the completion of the above auctions, the following will take place:
1. Mormori Avlemonas Street, budget €500,000 (REGION)
2. Road construction Drymonas – Kalamavros, budget €150,000 (Public Investment Program)
3. Redevelopment of the Antikythira River, budget €252,000 (GREEN FUND)
4. Asphalting of road to Chalkos, cost €75,000 (Public Investment Program)
5. Completion of road to Fyri Ammo, budget €75,000 (Public Investment Program)
6. Redevelopment of Kato Chora Mylopotamos, budget €143,000 (GREEN FUND)
7. New sports fields in Potamos and Frilingianika, budget €900,000 (FILODIMOS)
At the end, the Mayor states: «We are moving forward with substantive projects for the benefit of citizens!»
