For the first time, the Kemalist initiator of the Blue Homeland doctrine, retired admiral Jem Guurdeniz, spoke on Greek television and on the main newscast of OREN. He is among those recently jailed for a few days by the Turkish president because of the declaration of 103 retired admirals who opposed Erdogan's decision to abrogate the Montreux Treaty.
