It is with great emotion and pleasure that we invite you to an event of remembrance and honour to the warriors of the immortal 1940-’41 Epic of Mylopotamites (and other Kytherians).
We invite you to an experiential and emotionally charged conference, where through a feast of colours, sounds and images, we will follow the steps of our compatriots from Mylopotamos to the snowy peaks of Pindos, their unparalleled warlike bravery, but also their bloody sacrifices so that we can live today in a free and democratic homeland.
We will find out what those picturesque old figures of our childhood, whom we once met in the village square and who NEVER bragged about their heroic deeds, but on the contrary, they believed that they had fulfilled their duty to their motherland and to the next generations.
And all this, always having in their hearts and minds the beautiful Mylopotamos, as the generating force for victory and freedom, but at the same time as the Ithaca that every exhausted warrior seeks, having fulfilled his duty to the full.
We are waiting for you ALL!
