We finally have a post for the revised forest maps of Kythera. According to the decision of the Forestry Directorate of Piraeus, the certified map of the forest areas of Kythera - Antikythera was posted.

The decision to post the forest map
Posting of the forest map of the local/municipal communities of the Municipality of Kythera, regional unit of the Islands and invitation to submit objections against its content.
Α. It is decided to post the approved forest map of the areas of local / municipal communities of the Municipality of Kythera, regional unit of the Islands (attached relevant table) approved by the No. 20978/23-2-2021 our decision (ID: Ω2EIOΡ1Κ-2ΧΖ), total area 299.259,80 acres, in the special website for the posting of forest maps and objections of the website of the N.P.D.D. ’Hellenic Cadastre“

The above posted forest map also includes the historical orthophoto map, which depicts the polygons of the forest areas in general, determined from the photo-interpretation data of the older aerial photographs. It is noted that the posted forest map shows in black the areas that were excluded from its adoption, pursuant to (11), which are exempted from posting and objection.
Β. All interested parties are invited, after becoming aware of the content of the forest map posted as above, to submit any objections within an exclusive period of one hundred and five (105) days, which begins on Friday, 12-3-2021.
Please note that for areas with a validated forest map, objections are accepted only for the reformatted part of the posted forest map and only for those parts that have not already been objected to or requests for manifest errors.
The closing date of the above deadline is Friday 25-6-2021.
For residents or residents abroad, the above deadline is extended by 20 days, therefore the deadline for submitting objections is Thursday 15-7-2021.
The objections put forward grounds which relate solely to the questioning of the character and form of the land shown on the map, the correct representation, application and validity of the acts of the Administration and the lawful change of use of the land.
Objections may be submitted by natural and legal persons under public and private law, as well as the Greek State and the relevant local authorities of the first and second degree, if they invoke for the foundation of their legal interest rights in rem or in rem in the forest, grassland and rocky or rocky areas included in the posted forest map.
Objections specifically against the failure to include in the forest map a certain forest, grassland, rocky or rocky area may be submitted by any natural or legal person and, in particular, the first and second degree local authorities to whose administrative boundaries the area belongs, environmental organisations and other non-profit legal persons whose objectives include the protection of the natural environment.
The submission of objections is possible only electronically, on the special website for the posting of forest maps and submission of objections, on the website of the Hellenic Cadastre (https://www.ktimanet.gr/CitizenWebApp/Entrance_Page.aspx ), by filling in the relevant electronic form, using a web application.
- For the submission of an objection, it is obligatory to fill in the geographical coordinates of the vertices of the polygon/plot of land whose character and form is contested, as well as its area.
- Also, for the submission of an objection, a special fee must be paid, the amount of which is calculated on the basis of the area of the area concerned, as determined by the K.Y.A. of case (4) above.
