In the Tourism Development Committee of the KEDE was chosen to participate the councillor and head of the Free Kythera Anargyros Sophios. After his selection, Mr Sophios made the following statement:
«The Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE) has created some policy committees for the development of all the municipalities of our country, from which the biggest actions in each municipality originate.
I would like to thank the President and the Board of Directors of KEDE for choosing me to represent all the Municipalities of Greece in the Tourism Development Committee. This is an important event for our Municipality because a small Municipality like ours will have an opinion and a vote on decisions made in one of the most important areas of revenue generation in Greece.».
