Alain Delon Has Chosen Euthanasia: He Will Pass Away on His Own Terms – What His Son Has to Say

The 86-year-old has expressed his wish to pass away peacefully and on his own terms Alain Delon.

The actor, following the stroke he suffered in 2019, lives in Switzerland and reiterates that he has chosen the euthanasia to end his life when he chooses to, as his eldest son, Anthony, also confirmed.

Anthony Delon, also an actor, 57 years old, is the oldest Son from Alain Delon’s marriage to Nathalie Delon, for whom the legendary French star had divorced Romy Schneider. In support of his father’s decision, he recalled that his mother, who passed away in 2021 from pancreatic cancer, had also made the same choice.

He remained by her side even though the procedure, which the family had already arranged, was not necessary, as Natalie «passed away» before she could undergo euthanasia.

Speaking on the French radio station RTL, Anthony revealed that for this reason his father made his wishes clear in his will and asked him to stay with him until the end and to organize everything, which he agreed to do, as he recounted in his autobiography *Entre chien et loup* (Between Dog and Wolf).

In the book, Anthony Delon explained that he did not want to serve as the executor of the will, which is why he handed the task over to his half-sister Anoutchka (31)—who was born from his father’s relationship with Rosalie van Bremen (now 55)—and his older sister, Alain Delon Jr. (28).
