Anchovy the multicoloured

Anchusella variegata (L.) Bigazzi, Nardi & Selvi

Native to Southern Greece.Its leaves are lanceolate, spiny, and speckled with white. The small flower, with its beautiful magenta spots, is about 5 millimeters in diameter.We found it on Kythira at various locations in the east and north near the sea, and in the western part of the island in the inland areas.
