«Enslaved Kyrenia»: the European Union and the Cypriot Government fund projects in the occupied territories

The association «Enslaved Kyrenia» issued a statement denouncing that the Cypriot government, together with the European Union and with the tolerance of the leadership of the political parties of the island, is illegally funding infrastructure projects in the Turkish-occupied Cypriot land.

ANNOUNCEMENT
WE DENOUNCE AND DEMAND AN EXPLANATION...

Cypriot People, behind our backs and contrary to your will, which you clearly expressed in 2004, a Turkish State is being set up on our occupied land with the active participation of the Government and Party Leaders who are not heard to denounce and protest.

We are informed by the MEDIA that the European Union, and therefore we dare to add the Cypriot Government, which is supposedly fighting for the liberation of the country and while our country has not yet been liberated, is proceeding with illegal financing of infrastructure projects in the occupied territories, which are being carried out on our occupied land and which constitute the backbone of the Turkish State in our occupied territories. FROM WHERE TO WHERE DO THESE ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE IN SECRET?;

This time we are referring to the funding of millions of euros for the expansion of a wastewater plant in Morphou, which will be operational by 2020. The Rulers of the Republic of Cyprus are acting illegally and behind the back of the People and are creating a fait accompli of enormous proportions, only to come afterwards, after the fact, to ask us to legitimize them with their now famous and complicated appeal to see the realities and «see what can be done....».

Do the Party Leaders know about these projects? Why don't they speak out? On whose Cypriot citizen landowners are these illegal works being carried out? Were any citizen owners of occupied land notified to give their consent for such works? Where is the Constitution of the Republic of Cyprus going? We call on citizens who are likely to have been made aware of this and that the work is being done on their land to report it and provide us with evidence.

It is ridiculous to talk about corruption in the matter of passports and other scandals that are being brought up every day, while the great corruption concerns the abandonment of the Homeland to the mercy of the conqueror, thanks to the rulers of our country who took oaths of loyalty and devotion to the Constitution of the Republic of Cyprus.
For icing on the cake, which bears the greeting message: «Cheers Cypriot People», is the sad fact that all those who know and remain silent are selling fairy tales to the Cypriot People, with staged election scenarios that would make Hollywood envious, in order to steal their vote again and continue the party of surrendering the Homeland to the Turkish occupiers and the fraudulent foreign interests.
