Η European Commission, following a proposal by the Ministry of Development and Investment, approved an additional 100 million euros for Greece under the Operational Program «Public Sector Reform 2014–2020,» of the ESPA.
These funds will be allocated for the strengthening the public health system of the country and citizens' access to it.
More specifically, they will be directed toward supporting a mobile network of units to relieve the burden on hospitals due to the pandemic, improving services for patients with chronic conditions, and supporting the mental and physical health of healthcare workers.
