The delayed projects in the Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni and the issue of waste management were at the heart of the meeting, yesterday, of the Mayor of the city, G. Constantello and Rena Dourou, headed by a delegation of the Life Force, consisting of the Vice President of the Regional Council St. Korovesi and Regional Councillor Zoe Varelis - Stefanidis. The delegation of Force of Life was accompanied by the Coordinator of the SYRIZA Varis Voula Vouliagmeni, Vassilis Kyvelos, the member of the Coordinating Committee of the Prefectural Committee An. George Kotsalis, Member of the Coordinating Committee of the Regional Committee of the MP of Attica, Municipal Councillor, and Manolis Vardavas, Member of the Coordinating Committee of the OM, Head of the Local Government, Manolis Vardavas.
Subsequently, the delegation of the party and the Mayor visited important projects of the Power of Life Administration in the Municipality that are delayed due to the current Regional Authority. Such as the flagship project of the Corby stream settlement (budget 20.249.000 million), the Bioclimatic Children's Station (budget 2.1 million), the redevelopment of the 25th of March Square (budget 2.5 million), etc.

In total, the Administration of Dynamis Zoi has committed the necessary funds in the budget of the Region of Attica for the execution of flood protection works in the Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni, with a total budget of 33 million euros.
“Today many critical projects for Attica, funded by the Administration of the Life Force in the Region are delayed, dismantled under the responsibility of the current Administration and led to abandonment. Unfortunately, the serious projects in the Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni are no exception. The Life Force is committed and is fighting, inside and outside the Regional Council, to ensure, together with the Mayors and the local communities, that all these projects are completed. We are not going to take a step backwards. We are checking the administration. We are demanding that it immediately put the projects into practice for the citizens and not use them as communication tricks for self-promotion,” Rena Dourou observed after the visit.
