Ο OAED informs those concerned of the cases in which the unemployment card is cancelled and cannot be used by the beneficiaries.
In particular, the cases are the following:
- In case of taking up a job either through the mediation of the Employment Agency or through the unemployed person's own actions
- In case of non-acceptance of a job offered and suitable for the qualifications of the applicant
- In case of non-renewal of the unemployment card within a period of up to 5 (five) days after the indicated expiry date of the unemployment card
- In case of unavailability of the unemployed person in the labour market (e.g. illness, going abroad for a period exceeding a total of twenty (20) days per calendar year, administrative detention, imprisonment, etc.)
- In the event of conscription
- In the case of an early retirement by virtue of the same right
- In case of expiry of the foreigner's residence or work permit (in the case of third country nationals
- In case of study, apprenticeship, traineeship, internship
- In case of main insurance in OGA, NAT
