The KMOP invites young entrepreneurs, aged 18–35, — the Center for Social Action and Innovation (KMOP) and Amazing Youth — to participate, by June 20, 2023, in the STARS4SD Awards, which are being held as part of a European program.
Entrepreneurs are invited to share their own sustainability stories and apply to participate in European educational programs focused on youth entrepreneurship.
The goal is to recognize companies that incorporate the principle of sustainability into their activities, operations, and practices, and to help raise their profile in Greece and Europe.
Specifically, companies will be evaluated based on their adoption of the following five Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Quality education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, and responsible consumption and production.
The deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
The awards
The two winners of the contest will have the opportunity to participate, completely free of charge, in European educational programs focused on youth entrepreneurship.
The first winner will travel to an EU country (the exact location and date will be finalized in the coming months) to attend a training program and network with other young entrepreneurs from across Europe, while the runner-up will participate in a 4-day training program to be held in October 2023 in Monemvasia. It should be noted that in both cases, all expenses will be covered.
The winners will be selected at a special event to be held in early July, where the finalists will have the opportunity to present their initiative to the judging panel, other entrepreneurs, and the general public. In addition, the winners will have the opportunity to create a video telling their business story, which will be presented at the Stars4SD final conference in November 2023 in Brussels.
