OPEKA: What allowances and benefits are currently paid

Payments are being made today, Friday, October 30, by the Organization for Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) benefits totaling 177,459,568 euros.

Specifically, the following are paid:

- The Minimum Guaranteed Income to 242,632 beneficiaries, for a total amount of 53,554,965 euros.

- The housing allowance to 218,020 beneficiaries, for a total amount of 26,725,599 euros.

- The birth allowance for 13,001 births, totaling 13,185.00 euros.

– The welfare benefits for people with disabilities to 168,325 beneficiaries, for a total of 71,103,667 euros.

- The housing allowance to 1,037 beneficiaries, for a total of 309,581 euros.

- The Overseas Greek Community Allowance to 7,106 beneficiaries, for a total of 250,000 euros.

– The Pension for uninsured elderly people (Law No. 1296/1982) to 21,460 beneficiaries, for a total amount of 7,794,509 euros.

- The Social Solidarity Allowance for Uninsured Seniors to 13,495 beneficiaries, for a total amount of 4,408,083 euros.

– Finally, the Government Contribution Under Law No. 4605/2019 to 2,204 beneficiaries, for a total of 134,164 euros.

Please note that all OPEC benefits are paid on the last business day of the month.
