Doctors at Volos hospital are fighting to keep an 18-year-old girl alive. It is still not possible to draw a safe conclusion as to why the girl was in shock.
The 18-year-old, according to information from gegonota.news, was taken to hospital on Wednesday with her parents reporting that she suddenly developed a high fever and within hours collapsed.
She was immediately hospitalized in the ICU and her condition is considered critical.
«If the cycle of tests is not completed we cannot say we are making any guesses about the causes,» say the doctors who took into their hands a child in shock with an inability of the heart to provide sufficient blood and oxygen flow to the organs.
The 18-year-old is on life support.
