The visit of the Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, responsible for state aid issues, Kostas Katsafados, to the island on Thursday, July 31.

The purpose of the visit is to assess the island’s needs and coordinate efforts with local authorities to fully restore infrastructure and support residents.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister will meet with the Mayor of Kythira and other local officials. In addition, there will be a presentation of the planned government aid measures, aimed at the rapid and effective repair of damage and the compensation of those affected by the fires.
