Amendment to the maximum prices of items for canteens in public and private schools

The decision of the Ministry of Development was published in the Official Gazette, amending the 91354/24.08.2017 decision «Codification of the Rules for the Circulation and Marketing of Products and Services (Rules for the I.E.P.P.Y.)»

By amending the Decision, the maximum predetermined prices for canteens, refreshment rooms, canteens, etc. in public and private schools (primary, secondary, high schools, day and night schools) are amended.

Y1c/G.P./Oik 81025 ’Hygiene rules for school canteens, canteens (fixed), catering facilities in schools and the definition of the products available from them in public and private primary and secondary schools«. (Government Gazette 2135 B» 2013), the items listed in Table 3 are available at maximum predetermined prices as follows:

ε. Bottled water of 500 ml, domestic or not, whether or not refrigerated 0,35
f. Packaged natural fruit juices and similar products, without preservatives and without added sugar, in individual packages of 250ml 1,00

For the purpose of determining the maximum selling prices in Table 3, account was taken of the cost of acquisition of the items concerned, the operating costs of the companies and the achievement of a reasonable net profit by these companies.

The above offered items are required to be made available in accordance with the provisions and the specific specifications of Articles 7 and 9 of YIg/G.P./Oik 81025 (B’ 2135/2013), as amended by Y1g/G.P./Oik 96605 (B’ 2800/2013).
