New notice of the Ministry of Health provides for the filling of five (5) vacant posts qualified medical personnel for the General Hospital - Health Centre of Kythera «Trifillion».

The Specialities
The vacancy notice aims to cover key skills, with most of the posts at grade Director, suggesting the intention to have a strong staffing of the institution. Specifically, the positions advertised are:
Internal Medicine: One (1) Director grade post.
Surgery: One (1) Director grade post.
Anesthesiology: One (1) Director grade post.
Radiology: One (1) Director grade post.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology: One (1) post at the grade of B Supervisor.
It is worth noting that the «Trifyllion» is now characterized as Arid and Problem Area Category A. This means that the doctors who will choose Kythera are exempted from the obligation to perform outdoor service (rural), while no specialisation is required prior to recruitment.

The hospital administrator, Mr. Theodoros Koukoulis, expressed the hope that this notice would attract the interest of doctors to register as first preference the Kythera. The aim remains the substantial staffing of the hospital for the better service of the residents and visitors of the island.
