Due to the significant rise in temperature expected over the next few days, as well as periodically throughout the summer, the Kythira General Hospital and Health Center, in order to protect the local population, is issuing the following guidelines and urges the public to follow them.
The guidelines listed below remain in effect during periods of high temperatures (above 34ο Celsius).
General Safety Guidelines
It is recommended to stay in cool, air-conditioned areas, wearing light, light-colored clothing and a hat, and avoiding sun exposure combined with strenuous physical activity between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
