The rock legend, Ozzy Osbourne He died on Tuesday (July 22) at the age of 76.
His death came a few weeks after the Black Sabbath star took the stage for the last time with his bandmates at Villa Park in Birmingham.
In a statement, his family said that he died «surrounded by love.».
«With a sadness greater than words can express, we announce that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask that everyone respect our family’s privacy during this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Eme, and Louis,» the family’s statement read.

«You have no idea how I feel—thank you from the bottom of my heart,» the 76-year-old told the crowd as he appeared seated in an armchair on the stage at Villa Park — a concert that featured performances by some of his favorite bands, including Metallica and Guns N’ Roses.
Osbourne, also known as the Prince of Darkness, pioneered heavy metal with Black Sabbath before achieving massive success on his own. He was known for hits such as “Iron Man,” “Paranoid,” “War Pigs,” “Crazy Train,” and “Changes.”.
The singer also rose to fame thanks to his MTV reality show in the 2000s, *The Osbournes*, which chronicled the somewhat chaotic life of the star—who grew up in Birmingham—in Los Angeles with his wife Sharon and two of their children, Kelly and Jack.
He suffered from Parkinson's disease and had faced other health issues in recent years, including complications from injuries he sustained after a fall in 2019.
Osborne is survived by his wife, Sharon, and their children, Amy, Kelly, and Jack, as well as his two older children, Jessica and Lewis, from his first marriage to Thelma, and grandchildren.
