In fourth place we find the Peter V’landys, director of Racing NSW and president of the Australian Art League. A descendant of the Greeks, born on the island of Kythira, V’landys immigrated to Australia in 1965 and played a pivotal role in saving rugby league during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In eighteenth place located at Nick Politis, a businessman and president of the Sydney Roosters, who is also of Kythirian descent. “Nikos Politis,” as he is known, began sponsoring the team in 1976 and established himself as one of the most influential figures in the history of the NRL.
