Friday was the last day of classes for students in all three grades of general and vocational high schools, both day and evening programs. After all, on Monday, May 23, the promotion and graduation exams begin, and they will last until June 15.
Specifically, the promotion exams for students infirst- and second-year students in the Day and Evening General Upper Secondary Schools (GELS) will be held from Monday, May 23, 2022, through Wednesday, June 15, 2022, while the graduationfor third-year students in both day and evening General Upper Secondary Schools will be held from Monday, May 23, 2022, through Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
As a reminder, the Panhellenic Exams will be held earlier this year than last year. For high school students, they are scheduled for June 3–10, while for vocational high school graduates, they are scheduled for June 2–17. The specialized subjects will be tested June 18–30.
The countdown to the end of the school year has begun in middle schools as well, with the last day of classes being May 30. Junior high school exams will be held June 1–15.
Elementary schools and preschools will close later, on June 15.
