The call for bids for the procurement of a new 16-cubic-meter compactor-type garbage truck, funded with 150,000 from the FILODIMOS Program. The deadline for submitting electronic bids is September 23, 2021.
With the new garbage truck—the third in a row in recent years—the waste collection service on our island will be further improved. Furthermore, the completion of Phase A of the work at the Kythira Landfill and the subsequent takeover of the site’s operation by EDSNA are key factors in ensuring that Kythira remains one of the cleanest islands in Greece, as visitors to our island attest every day.
