Η Sunlight, a member of Olympia Group, announced its new initiative, the «RISE to the Challenge» paid training and employment program for college graduates, through which it seeks to support young engineers as they take their first steps in their careers.
The «RISE to the Challenge» graduate program is designed for those who have recently earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineers, or Mechanical Engineers. Applicants must be fluent in English and Greek. The program will begin in October 2021 and will last 18 months. Those interested, both from Greece and abroad, They must have submitted their application online by September 17, 2021.
With the goal of advancing in a pioneering and innovative environment that actively promotes continuous development, participants in the program will have the opportunity to put their technical and creative skills into practice, by participating in challenging projects at various facilities and in different geographic regions where the company operates, thereby gaining valuable experience. During their educational journey at Sunlight, Participants will learn about key areas of business operations on which the company focuses, such as R&D for lithium technologies.
It should be noted that the company is moving forward with the creation of a state-of-the-art research center in Athens, which will complement the corresponding center already operating successfully at its main industrial facility in Xanthi. At the same time, it is implementing a €105.26 million investment to develop a new lithium prototype production facility, to increase battery assembly capacity, and to develop lithium technologies at the cell level.
