Another withdrawal—the fifth in a row—of a parliamentary candidate from the «Freedom Course» took place today, accompanied once again by allegations of unethical behavior on the part of Zoi Konstantopoulou.
This is Nikoletta Bourazani, who received the most votes in Thessaloniki B. ’I am withdrawing my support for the Freedom Course and for Zoe Konstantopoulou,« said Nikoletta Bourazani, adding that Zoe Konstantopoulou »completely disregarded the results of the May 21 elections and published the candidate lists for the upcoming elections, essentially «appointing her own people.“ These actions are inconsistent with the principles upheld by the Freedom Course’s manifesto—namely, democracy, meritocracy, ethics, and justice.”.
According to N. Bourazani’s resignation statement: «I was under the impression that I was supporting a woman of values and ethics, who, however, is acting in exactly the opposite way, as it turns out.».
As a reminder, it was announced yesterday that Christos Lambrou, Chrysa Diamantopoulou, Margarita Kazakou, and Olga Dalla are stepping down.
