The online platform A21 for the submission child benefit application for 2021, has reopened. In an announcement, the administration of the Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity Agency (OPEC), clarifies that the platform is available starting today for benefit recipients who have not yet submitted an A21 application for the year 2020 and for those citizens who began creating an A21 application, but have not yet finalized and submitted it. At the same time, it sets January 15, 2021, as the deadline for submitting applications.
Recipients of the child allowance may submit the A21 application here, by January 15, 2021. After January 15, 2021, the online platform for submitting A21 applications will close permanently, and it will no longer be possible to submit an application for the year 2020.
Applications submitted and approved on or after December 28, 2020, will be paid the amount due for the entire year 2020 in the payment two cycles later, rather than in the payment on December 31, 2020.
