Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is currently meeting with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al-Saud, who is in Athens.
The meeting is «an opportunity to promote strategic relations between Greece and Saudi Arabia and to discuss developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Gulf and the Middle East», the Foreign Ministry said in a tweet.
This visit, the second by the Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister to Athens in less than a year (preceded by his participation in the Friendship Forum in February 2021) follows the visit of the Greek Foreign Minister, together with the Minister of Defence Nikos Panagiotopoulos, to Saudi Arabia last April and of course the visit of the Prime Minister last October.
