The appeals of the Holy Metropolis of Kythera to the Council of State on the issue of the status of the Holy Shrines of Kythera have been rejected. This is reported by the newspaper «Kythiraika» citing secure information.
As mentioned, the first appeal, submitted by the Metropolitan, focused on the Presidential Decree that determined the manner of election of the Enchiorion, the disposal of its property in case of its abolition and other issues.
The second appeal, which was similar to previous appeals concerning the founding Domestic Property Act, was directed against that Act.
