With a great success and in an atmosphere fun, took place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in the hall of the Athens Marriott, the Annual Carnival Dance of the Kythira Association of Athens. THE ANNUAL DANCE OF THE KYTHIRA ASSOCIATION OF ATHENS
The event was held successfully and in a festive atmosphere The Carnival Dance of the Kythira Association of Athens on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in the luxurious ballroom of the ATHENS MARRIOTT hotel.
Residents of Kythira and friends of the island, young and old alike, enjoyed an evening filled with joy and nostalgia, an evening that, though modern, evoked the glamour of the Association’s old-fashioned social dances.
The music, which ranged from traditional folk dances and classic waltzes to modern Carnival hits, kept the festive spirit alive.
Our fellow countryman Christos Kalokairinos was in charge of the music, and we would like to extend our special thanks to him for his outstanding collaboration. .
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the members and friends of the Association, as well as to the representatives of the Municipality of Kythira and the Kythirian organizations, who stood by us and honored us with their presence, as well as everyone who helped make this event a success.
We would also like to thank the young men and women in our dance troupe, whose energy helped make this a wonderful celebration.
