The President of the Disciplinary Board of Actors appears before the Public Prosecutor today, Paschalis Tsarouchas, called to testify in the cases of sexual violence within the theatre space that have been denounced.
Mr. Tsarouhas is expected to hand over to the Prosecutor Mr. Kostas Spyropoulos all the material collected by the disciplinary body of the Actors' Association, on cases of abusive behaviour by theatre people against their colleagues or other persons.
It is estimated that the complaints that will be delivered to the prosecutor are hundreds , but this does not mean that they all concern serious cases of sexual abuse that can be controlled criminally, mainly in terms of the statute of limitations but also in terms of the possibility of collecting additional evidence. .
Among the files expected to be handed over will be some relating to the case of the already accused actor, director Dimitris Lignadis pending his plea before an interrogator.
